INSTRUCTIONS TO REGISTER:
To register for just a pre-conference track OR just the general conference, choose the appropriate tile. To register for BOTH a pre-conference track AND the general conference, choose the tile for Advanced or Fantasy Track (Thursday to Friday), choose the quantity 1 and “Add to Cart.” On the next page, you’ll be prompted under “Selection” to choose “Track Only” or “Track plus Conference.” Below that, you’ll be prompted to specify which track you choose. The reduced price for registering for both a track and the general conference will be adjusted at checkout. If you are registering a high schooler, choose the appropriate tile for the reduced price for high schoolers (for both pre-conference track and general conference, see above). Registration for housing is separate. On that page you’ll also be prompted regarding if you want on-campus housing. You will not pay for housing yet. This triggers a notice to the conference director who will then send you the appropriate link to register and pay for housing separately. Early Bird Pricing (through April 30, 2026) Advanced OR Fantasy Track (Thursday to Friday) = $139 General Conference (Friday to Saturday) = $139 Track plus Conference (Thursday to Saturday) = $249 Regular Pricing (starting May 1, 2026) Advanced OR Fantasy Track (Thursday to Friday) = $159 General Conference (Friday to Saturday) = $159 Track plus Conference (Thursday to Saturday) = $289 High school student rates (ages 16-18) Advanced OR Fantasy Track (Thursday to Friday) = $99 General Conference (Friday to Saturday) = $99 Track plus Conference (Thursday to Saturday) = $175 Note: if you prefer not to pay through a website, you can send a check for the required amount in order to register (note that housing is extra; see below). Make your check out to Taylor University. Send c/o Linda Taylor, Taylor University, Communication Dept., 1846 Main St., Upland, IN 46989. Online registration will close on July 7, 2026. After that, you will need to register by mail with a check. Sign up to receive our newsletter. Watch our Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter (X) feeds for updates. Meals Meals are included in your conference fee and will be held in our campus dining commons. They do their best to accommodate meals for those with allergies (gluten-free options), but we cannot do special meal orders. If you're joining a Pre-conference Track, you will get dinner on Thursday, breakfast and lunch on Friday, and some snacks along the way. If you're part of the General Conference, you'll get dinner on Friday, breakfast and lunch on Saturday, and ditto on the snacks -- oh, and coffee! Must. Have. Coffee. Housing Housing is not included in your conference fee. You can opt for housing on campus for $80/night, and you will pay separately. On the registration page, you will be asked if you want a room on campus for Thursday and/or Friday night. Rooms will be available on a first-come first-served basis, and we cannot guarantee availability. After you register, you will be emailed a link (and QR code) to pay for your on-campus room separately. Deadline for room registration is July 7, 2026, but only if rooms are still available at that time. Note that this is in a college dormitory (men and women may be mixed on the same floors, with separate bathrooms marked). You can plan for a roommate to split the cost, but work that out individually (that is, one of you book and pay for the room). While a linen set is provided, you probably will want to bring an extra blanket and pillow. If you prefer a little more comfort, there are three hotels within about five miles of campus: Best Western Plus Gas City; Holiday Inn Express Gas City; Super 8. You need to make these reservations on your own. We do not have group rates set up. Travel: If you’re driving:
Note to internationals: If you are registering from another country, please supply to us a name, email address, and phone number of a local U.S. sponsor who will be caring for picking you up from airport/train station/bus station, getting you to the conference, and then returning you after the conference. As noted above, all attendees need to arrange for their own transportation to and from campus and we cannot provide for additional overnights. |
